2006 National TA Call SeriesAll calls are held the third Thursday of the month from 1:00-2:30 PM ET. The National Technical Assistance Center for Children's Mental Health is hosting a year-long monthly conference call series. The 18 th annual conference will focus on “addressing the disparity between evidence-based practices and what youth and families define as effective.” The conference will include a pre-conference policy day, youth and family roundtable discussions, an IDEA training and resource room, a special youth track, and entertainment. FFCMH is now collecting workshop proposals, particularly those which (a) acknowledge and incorporate cultural and linguistic diversity and the perspectives of youth and families in defining Practice-based Evidence; and (b) highlight the collaboration between families, youth, advocates, and the research community that is necessary to better define Practice-based Evidence.
