Real Sustainability: How to Build a Fiscal Sustainability Plan That Will Work on Multiple Levels

It Takes a Village: Engaging Informal Supports in Systems of Care

Implementing Mental Health Crisis Response and Stabilization Services – Strategies and Successes

The presenters shared how they forged partnerships in their community and within their State to address the needs of children and youth in the community who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Each has developed a 24/7 service system to respond immediately, stabilize crises, assess strengths and needs, and mobilize necessary supports. These crisis response systems have been effective in keeping families together, stabilizing placements, and reducing the need for inappropriate psychiatric hospitalization. Learn how these programs evolved, how they operate, strategies for addressing challenges, and results of successful implementation.

Have you ever wondered why change and transformation feel so chaotic? Have you ever wanted to have a framework and tools that could help you lead change and manage complex transformation productively in your state and community?
This Webinar will help you to understand the role of leadership in change and transformation. Sustaining and Strengthening Family-Run Organizations

In five short years, the Family Involvement Center in Maricopa County, Arizona has grown from a simple idea into one of the leading family-run organizations in the nation. In 2006, over 1,000 diverse families were involved in family-to-family support, family training, systems navigation, systems transformation, leadership and numerous other key roles sponsored by the Center. This Webinar features the Center's strategies in reshaping the system of child-serving agencies in Arizona "from the family out." Participants learned successful strategies for financial diversification and family workforce development that strengthen and sustain family-run organizations in systems of care.
Key Learning Objectives:
- How to recognize/create and pursue opportunities to diversify financial support for family-run organizations
- How to cultivate, create and embed opportunities for family-driven/youth-guided services at both individual and system levels
- How to sustain and strengthen consequential family voice through leadership development, workforce development, organizational development and sharing the learning.
