Puerto Rico’s Mental Health Initiative for
Children was funded by SAMHSA in 2002 to demonstrate and implement their plan to develop a community-based system of care for children, youth and families living within San Juan’s large urban community of Luis Llorens Torres and in the rural community of Gurabo.
