Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Other Pacific Islander (AANHOPI) Learning Community
Mission Statement
Our mission is to grow a community where knowledge and skills are actively exchanged among peers so that we may provide culturally and linguistically competent services for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) children, youth and families within system of care communities.
We aim to collaborate across the diversity between us, respecting and honoring the diversity among us, to build systems of care that meet the needs of our multiethnic, multiracial, multilingual, multicultural communities.
Our Learning Community goals and objectives are to:
- Expand service access and engagement of AANHPI children, youth, and families within system of care communities;
- Build the capacity to effectively serve AANHPI children, youth,and families in a culturally and linguistically competent manner;
- Reduce disparities in care provision and service outcomes for AANHPI children, youth and families; and
- Transform the delivery of culturally and linguistically competent behavioral health services for ALL children, youth, and families within system of care communities.
